Our gold spun story begins in 1909. It’s backdrop is Leon Tufenkjian’s attic, its first protagonist a young, hardworking man driven by his uncompromising nature and dexterous craftsmanship.
From his early days in Beirut’s historical Gold Souk, his first collections and simple creations found their audience, thus marking the beginning of a marvelous adventure. Leon Tufenkjian was paving the way for his three sons to keep the dream going, later joining forces under “Tufenkjian Frères”.
Under the watchful eye of their father, they learned the meticulous art and science of precious jewellery making and developed their own vision. What has always set the Tufenkjians apart from an unfeeling industry is their deep understanding of what makes quality jewellery truly unique: special occasions, momentous accomplishments, deep relationships, and the unspeakable beauty of life and those who matter most.

His drawings, which are the fruit of his imagination, are turned into final sketches by a team of skilled designers. Raw materials are then brought to life by a delicate play on colors, cuts, forms, light and texture, with shapes and shades revealing their original beauty through a delicate process that operates from the inside out.
